This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Manager based in Canada.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the go-to-market strategy for innovative software and technology solutions serving business customers. You’ll translate complex products and features into compelling positioning, messaging, and customer-facing stories. The role sits at the intersection of Product Management, Marketing, Growth, Sales, and customers. You’ll own product launches while shaping campaigns that build awareness, engagement, and demand. Customer research and market insights will help you identify opportunities, validate messaging, and strengthen competitive differentiation. This is a highly collaborative environment where creativity, data-driven thinking, and strong execution are equally valued. You’ll have meaningful influence over how products are understood, positioned, launched, and ultimately adopted in the market.

Accountabilities
Own end-to-end product and feature launches, including naming, positioning, target audience definition, messaging, launch planning, content development, and campaign coordination.
Develop and maintain clear product positioning and messaging frameworks that communicate customer benefits and differentiate solutions from competitors.
Partner with Product Management to understand upcoming products and features, gather early customer feedback, and continuously refine messaging based on market insights.
Conduct customer, market, competitor, segmentation, and buyer-persona research to develop a strong understanding of target audiences and their needs.
Work with Growth Marketing to create and execute campaigns that increase product awareness, generate demand, and support adoption.
Develop sales enablement materials such as one-pagers, presentations, pitch decks, talk tracks, training resources, and product kickoff materials.
Create and coordinate customer-facing content, including web pages, newsletters, email campaigns, release notes, FAQs, datasheets, factsheets, video scripts, and event collateral.
Translate complex technical products and capabilities into concise, engaging, value-focused messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Support market experiments and messaging validation initiatives in collaboration with Product Management before broader product development or launch.
Monitor campaign and launch performance, lead regular reporting discussions, and adapt strategies based on real-time data and customer feedback.
Serve as a key voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring customer needs and market insights inform product and marketing decisions.
Build strong relationships across Marketing, Product Management, Growth, Creative, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated initiatives.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, breaking complex initiatives into milestones while proactively communicating progress, risks, and priorities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, product management, or marketing management, with 6+ years of product marketing experience preferred.
Experience in a B2B product marketing environment, ideally supporting software, cloud, or SaaS solutions.
Strong ability to develop product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and customer-focused marketing content.
Excellent storytelling, writing, presentation, and communication skills, with confidence presenting to internal teams and directly to customers.
Demonstrated ability to simplify complex products, technologies, and features into clear and compelling value propositions.
Strong market research and analytical skills, with the curiosity to test assumptions, interpret customer insights, and use data to guide decisions.
Experience creating high-quality presentations, sales decks, pitch materials, and other sales enablement assets.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing requirements.
Collaborative and relationship-oriented approach, with the ability to influence and work effectively across Product, Marketing, Growth, Sales, and Creative teams.
Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-moving environment where priorities and projects can evolve.
A customer-centric mindset and genuine interest in understanding new technologies, audiences, markets, and business challenges.
