Our client is a Leadership & Business Coach, helping high-performing women develop executive presence, strategic visibility, emotional intelligence, and leadership confidence. As a growing solopreneur, she is now focused on building her personal brand through authentic, educational content while scaling her coaching business.
She is looking for a highly skilled Content & YouTube Growth Virtual Assistant who can help edit, optimize, publish, and strategically improve her content across multiple platforms while maintaining an authentic, human-centered brand voice.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is more than a video editor—they are a strategic content partner who understands YouTube growth, content optimization, audience retention, and content repurposing.
The client will record all original content herself. The VA will transform those recordings into polished, engaging long-form and short-form content while recommending improvements that increase engagement and channel growth.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working with coaches, personal brands, and educational content.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
Edit weekly long-form YouTube videos (approximately 15–20 minutes)
Edit short-form videos from long-form content
Remove unnecessary pauses and filler words
Improve pacing and audience retention
Add clean captions
Insert relevant B-roll footage
Add simple transitions where appropriate
Enhance audio quality
Create engaging but clean thumbnails
Export videos in platform-specific formats
YouTube Optimization
Optimize every upload using YouTube best practices:
SEO-friendly video titles
Compelling descriptions
Keyword research
Tags
Hashtags
End screens
Chapters
Calls-to-action
Thumbnail optimization
Audience retention recommendations
Subscriber growth recommendations
The goal is not simply publishing videos but helping grow the YouTube channel.
LinkedIn Content Support
Format daily LinkedIn text posts
Edit captions while preserving the client’s authentic voice
Schedule and publish posts
Recommend posting best practices
Ensure consistency in tone and messaging
Content Repurposing
Repurpose one long-form YouTube video into:
Short-form clips
Instagram Reels (future phase)
Social media snippets
Quote graphics (if applicable)
Additional content ideas
Strategic Content Collaboration
This is a key part of the role.
The client expects the VA to provide thoughtful recommendations, including:
Improving viewer retention
Reducing unnecessary content
Suggesting stronger hooks
Recommending better video structure
Identifying opportunities to shorten videos
Suggesting stronger titles and thumbnails
Advising on YouTube growth best practices
The VA should be confident in offering constructive feedback rather than simply following instructions.
Content Schedule

Daily LinkedIn posts (goal of 7 posts/week)
